Terms of Service

Last updated August 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of GenuSort ("the app"). By signing in and using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What GenuSort is

GenuSort is a small, independently-run tool that helps you sort mixed LEGO parts back into sets, using set and part data from the Rebrickable API. It's provided as-is, free of charge, with no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or continued availability.

Access

GenuSort is invite-only. Access is granted at the discretion of the app's administrator and may be revoked at any time, for any reason, without notice — including removing your email from the allowed sign-in list.

Your data

Your sorting data belongs to you. What we collect and how it's used is described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for keeping your own backups (via the Data page) if you want to guard against losing local data on your device.

Acceptable use

Don't use GenuSort to attempt to disrupt the service, access data that isn't yours, or misuse the Rebrickable API beyond normal use of the app.

No warranty, limitation of liability

GenuSort is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We're not liable for any loss of data, or any other damages, arising from your use of the app, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Trademarks

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse GenuSort. Set and part data is sourced from Rebrickable and used under its API terms.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use GenuSort after a change means you accept the updated terms.
